@Brandon Turner @Joshua Dorkin yep, every one of them at this point. I've gotta say, I love your guys' jokes so much more than the sales pitches from every other real estate podcast I've listened to!

@Ali Boone I'll check the article out! Yea, my wife and I would prefer to have properties nearby but it just doesn't make financial sense. We're trying to figure out where we'd like to start for our first investment.

Hey guys,

I came across this site a couple months ago as I was looking into a guru's program. Have since poured over a bunch of the site and listened to every podcast! There's so much great info here, it's been awesome!

My wife and I have been looking into buying rental property for the past few years but haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. Here in Modesto it really feels like the properties are going for much more than would be profitable as a rental so we're looking at other areas around the country. Glad to be part of the forum now and looking forward to interacting with you guys!
