Thanks for all the information and advice.  We went up today and installed a couple of lock boxes to get us through till we go stay and stay there ourselves for a short vacation.  My wife saw where it could be in vacation mode so we're gonna check on that and try some of yall's suggestions.

Today we had a guest arrive and the key pad would not work.  My wife could open it from the app but the key pad is not working.  So when guest leave they cannot lock or unlock the door.  Our maid went over to reset the wifi and reconnect the lock to it and that didn't work.  The batteries were replaced today as well.

We're having trouble with our keyless Wi-Fi door lock.  It's a Schlage and supposedly one of the best.  This is the second one we've replaced in the past year.  Any suggestions on other brands?

I've heard this many times but have not been able to verify it with the IRS website.  Do you know where it can be found in the tax code?

Do both spouses need to obtain real estate professional status to receive the tax benefit?
