Our property management team received a letter from a lawyer that their client (our tenant) hurt his ankle on a stair that was broken. He says he missed work due to the issue. Our property management team fixed it the same day he submitted the issue. Our property management team wants our insurance to fight the claim. Do we need to get a separate lawyer involved? Thanks for the direction.
