Hey Don!! From what I’ve encountered, even if it is the tenant’s name and goes unpaid, it just gets added to the property taxes for that year. The City goes after the easiest target, which is usually the landlord. The City doesn’t want to have to chase down collections for that because it would be a full time job. It sucks, but I understand their logic.
