Hi there everyone! (I hope I'm in the right place)

Question for all you real estate agents and realtors out there :

Right now, I am living in Wisconsin, but I will be moving to Virginia by July at the latest. I want to become a real estate agent. I know that you need to take a pre-licensing class, then a pre-test, then the actual exam followed up with getting sponsored by a broker. Should I take all the Virginia real estate classes and exams and get sponsored before I get down there? If I get sponsored in Wisconsin, will I be stuck in Wisconsin to work with the broker that sponsors me? Or do you think I should wait until I get to Virginia to take care of everything? I know there is reciprocity if I were to get my Wisconsin license, but would I be stuck in Wisconsin longer then?

I apologize if I sound totally oblivious, this is kind of a niche question.

Any info and advice would be appreciated.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
