Hi all,

Just wondering how your rental income impacted your tax situation. One of my wife’s primary worries is how our taxes will change.

Also, did any of you start off with an LLC or wait until you build a portfolio with multiple properties? Unsure how al that works and if I am investing out of state… will I need an LLC in each state I am invested in.

Thank you all.

Good morning BP,

I am exploring the Milwaukee area and I have noticed there are several homes owned by the city and they mention:

"City has Homebuyer Assistance program which provides up to $20,000 to assist w/ the rehab of City-owned foreclosed homes."

My question is, have any of you used a program like this in the past either in Milwaukee or another city?

I know this would not cover the cost needed but a free $20,000 seems like a good start.

Thank you all,

Sam

Brand new to BP and would love to participate in a Zoom call. I am in Stockton but look at properties across the Central Valley.
