I have passed my License exam and am looking for a broker to associate with. Can anyone give me a lead on where I could find a broker who is investor friendly?

I have already converted one IRA into a SDIRA for real estate investment. Once I retire, I will have control over an IRAP (IRA as part of a union pension plan) and a 401K.

I have spoken to the union's plans administrator, and he says that I will be free to roll over both accounts as soon as my retirement is finalized.

My account manager at the custodian of my SDIRA said that I can roll both accounts over into the existing SDIRA.

It seems that it would be simpler for me to manage my real-estate portfolio, if it were not scattered around. (I already have properties purchased outside of the SDIRA).

Would there be any advantage in keeping the accounts separate?

@Chris Martin

Thanks, Chris!

No, my SDIRA is just for investing and growing my retirement funds.

Thanks,

Sandra

@George Blower

Thanks George,

One more question: My properties are on the mainland, but my LLCs are set up in Hawaii. Does that make a difference?

Thanks,

Sandra

@George Blower

Hi George,

Thanks for your feed back.

I wasn't looking to buy property with a mortgage with the downpayment coming from my IRA.

I want to mortgage the properties, which my IRA owns 100%, to buy additional properties inside my IRA.

Thanks,

Sandra
