How is the Houston STR market regulated? What are some of the roadblocks and red tape people face?

Hello! I just moved to Houston and looking for a new position. I do want to get into real estate but want to start off doing STR staging or something similar on the management side of things. Would any of you know of any open roles in Houston?

@Morgan Tondre Right now I'd love to work for a staging company or something similar so I can learn the ins and outs of the upkeep and business side of things. Then I'd like to look into rental arbitrage until I am able to invest in my own properties.
