@Brian Stupack. Oh wow a fellow Winnipegian! Thanks for the welcome and congratulations on taking the leap into real estate.  I would love to hear how the flipping goes! Not sure how this site works yet but I will try and subscribe to you in some way so if you do post any of your experiences I will not miss it!

Hello everybody just wanted to introduce myself.  I have been a lurker for some time on BP and I have finally decided to make an account seeing as how welcoming and helpful the members of BP really are. To start, I am a Bachelor of Commerce student who has recently been interested in real estate.  So far I have been reading books and guides on different niches in real estate and I am leaning towards focusing on fixing and flipping houses. I am still in university (third year) therefore I am planning to educate myself in real estate and make connections with other like minded people until I graduate and start working. My goal is to learn from other BP members and to also share any knowledge and experiences I have.  While I don't have any capital to start investing with, there are no excuses not to educate myself in the meantime!
