That’s good information. Thank you!

Hello! I’m fairly new to this real estate investing. I’m trying to work out a deal including seller financing and refinancing but am little confused on how it work out. I don’t have the down payment yet but I’m sure my relative will want the lump sum at some point. Can anyone give me an example of  similar deal you did? Thank you.

Oh really?! I didn’t know that. I’m new to this so I’m learning. I really want this duplex from a family member but the first floor needs the rehab and 2nd floor is ready to move in. I don’t have cash for the down payment so what you just said is something similar I had in my thoughts. The owner will want shorter term as possible due to his age.

Hello,

I want to know have anyone ever tried the seller financing on the property that is clear and free then refinance with the bank in 2 or more years to give the lump sum? Is that even possible?

Hey if ya all are still around,  I’m deaf and new to this real estate investing. I live on the property with a duplex and little house. Let’s connect im curious about yours.

Hello, I’m Deaf and want to see if there’s any deaf members here.  I’m interested to connect and chat

Thank you

I’m local but new to rental investing. I already know the average rent $ and crime rate in area.

Hello,

I am curious how do you guys find out about if this area is good place to rent or not? I am curious about New Hope, Bucks County, PA area with a duplex house.

Quote from @Steven De Lange:

Hi Scott,

Jumping into real estate with that multi-family property is a great start! Now, thinking about your next steps, you will need to figure out what's driving you. Is it the freedom that comes with income from properties, building a lasting legacy, or growing your wealth?

Consider how you want to expand. Quick and aggressive, or slow and steady? Are you into the hands-on management, or prefer to oversee from a distance?

Also, think about your exit plan. How and when might you want to step back or sell?

Aligning your actions with your core motivations is crucial. What's your vision for the future in your real estate journey?

Hope this helps!

That's great questions to think about. Thank you. my multi family property was unintentional when we were looking for a new home. It was just a great opportunity that we found and couldn't pass on it. So I am learning A LOT. My wife and I like to have extra income from the rentals. I want to start this investment slowly.

We are 40 years old. We purchased large multi family property with 3 rentals outbuildings with our own house.  We are looking to purchase more properties. I’m wondering what end goals do we have? Obviously we aren’t waiting on 30 years for full cash flow.
