Sound advice. I appreciate your responses Marc. Be well.

Thanks Marc. Being new to doing any partnerships could you please elaborate on why you stay clear of those kinds of deals?

Looking for advice on partnerships with people who have done deals with general contractors. What kind of deals have you done? How did you structure the partnership? Have they been positive experiences? Any other information and advice you would like offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Basil. I have asked the agent who showed me the property to give me the contact info for GC's with good reputations in the area. Hoping to get one to come to the property and give me their take on what the rehab would involve. Planning to pay them for their time and also figure it will be a good way to see if they'd be right for the job. I'll keep you posted.

I am considering buying a triplex in a town about 2 hours from where I live. The structure is over 100 years old and is going to need extensive rehab. Looking for advice on how to manage the job from a distance, how to find a good GC and get the job done on time. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Want to become involved in the REI community in Southern Arizona. Recent events have shut down many gatherings. What are REI's doing to connect now?

Thank you for the advice Rob. Another friend of mine suggested a self directed retirement account. I am going to look in to it. Best.

Thank you Theresa, I am looking at a HUD town home right now. Seems well managed but HOA is $140 a month. Are condo communities usually going to have a high monthly fee because of the additional maintenance they provide or does that seem high?

Again Thank You for the input. That sounds like a very workable method for both of the ones that I am looking at. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you Kenneth. I imagine I am going to learn a lot through the process no matter how they go. I'll keep you "posted". Best.
