@Norberto Villanueva Thank you for the recommendations, and especially the one about meetup.com. I have used meetup in the past for my hobbies, but didn't think about looking for the real estate folks on there too! I appreciate your links and info regarding market conditions as well.

The BP community is very welcoming, indeed! Thank you all!

@Sydney Hall are you looking for connections in the Colorado area?

@Ryan Sanders Thank you very much for the warm welcome!

@Brandon Turner Thanks for the recommendation on the blog post, I missed that one. I've been lurking on BP for quite some time now, and finally decided to join up. I really appreciate, and enjoy the podcasts as well as all the written material BP provides!

Hello!

Looking to start my REI journey. Based in Colorado Springs, CO. Right now I'm working on the first part of everyone's work in this field - education.

From what I've learned thus far I'm mostly interested in first doing a home hack type deal, with an owner-occupant multi family type investment. Would like to free up some funding, and position myself a little better.

The next thing I's be interested in is house flips, doing a large portion (but not all) of any renovation work involved. I have a fairly strong construction background and a good back. The sweat equity idea really appeals to me!

Anyhow - hello BP community!
