Hey all,

So I am 27 years old and trying to get started in real estate investing. I currently live in Portland, OR which is a pretty tough market right now. The good news is my job allows me to work from anywhere in the US. I want to leverage this flexibility and move to the most attractive real estate market possible to begin my investing career. I have done some research and put together a list of 10 cities which have shown to be giving good returns to investors. Most of these cities are in the South and Midwest which is not a surprise.

Memphis, TN
Detroit, MI
Birmingham, AL
Indianapolis, IN
Kansas City, MO San Antonio, TX Oklahoma City, OK
Atlanta, GA
Tampa, FL
St. Louis, MO

So I wanted to post this to see if anyone here has experience in these markets and any advice or information to help me make my decision. Also if you know of anywhere that i missed please let me know.

Thanks.

So why did you buy the property all cash? Just because its a bankruptcy?
