@Theresa Harris Thank you for your input. I could also go to my boss on Monday and ask if I can get a trial on the night and day shifts, to see if it fits me. if it doesn't I can always come back to the shift now.

@John teachout , you are right in your assumption, I know I'm valuable to where I work. I don't think I understand the commute part, it's the same address, so the commute to work will be the same on each shift. Thanks for your insight

@Daniel Lichtenfels, yes I'm missing out on social life, both family and friends. Although I've gotten a few colleagues as friends because we are the same age, so I don't feel like I'm missing out (also an introvert so it's not too bad)

@John Teachout, it's gonna be the same work, it's only the shift I'm changing.

Hi BP,

I'm wondering on what to do with my current job. right now i work evening 14-22, 5 days a week and i can save about 1/3 of my income (1000$). i don't like the work hours that i have, so I've gotten an offer to switch

my choices:

night shift: able to save 500$ more

day shift: better work hours 6-14, 5 days

I don't know what's the better option, hope some of you can help me or at least clear a little bit.

thanks in advance, Sebastian.
