I would agree with Tyler. Me and my team love Stewart title and use them for almost every transaction. Lori Guy specifically is my go to.

Hey Erin,

The Kenai Peninsula is a beautiful spot and will make for a lovely property. Alaska has a much different climate than CA, but the maintenance approach is very similar. The average of 85 inches of snow and months like January averaging 25 degrees can create a lot of maintenance problems. Typically people still do the 5-10% depending on the property, with a few of the more conservative investors I work with leaning towards the 8-12% to be safe. You can't get hurt being under a maintenance budget! I hope this helps, and feel free to message me if you have any additional questions about investing in Alaska!

Welcome to Anchorage Micah! Congrats on finishing high school and starting the next step on your education journey. It is amazing to see you getting interested in REI, and starting so early. I did the same thing and its paying off big time! I would love to get lunch with you and talk about the market up here and give you what guidance I can. Just message me and we can set it up, and congrats again!
