I would like to thank everyone for your replies and advice, and to those who will continue to give it to those of us who are just starting out. I won't be planning to move to Florida until next year, so I am trying to get myself together to try and make something happen here in New York.  I am feeling a bit overwhelmed because I don't really know where to start. So I am strongly thinking of becoming a property finder. This way I can learn everything I need to know as a investor from the outside and make some money as well. Also, this September, I will be enrolling into the American Real Estate school to become a notary, take some sales courses for a license and foreclosure course. So what do you guys think of this idea? Hit me back and let me know! Thanx again!

We won't be leaving until late next year this time or later, unless we can make some money doing this here. Its very true what you're saying, and I am considering this area as a test run to making money, but if we can hook up, I would like that. Thank you for inviting me to BP.

I live in New York on Long Island, and I plan to move to Florida. Should I try to network here and look into getting a home here, or wait until I get to go to Florida and do this? I am not too confident in dealing with property in New york, but I would like to try my hand at it here before I go to see how I do.
