@Michael Plante

Thank you for this suggestion the reason I was going the route of handyman is because these companies were booked so far out. But it’s seeming like that was the better option to stick with. I will begin my search now

Hello BP,

I’m experiencing my first tenant turnover and I’m excited about the process. I purchased both properties with tenants so this is my first time screening and getting the apartment ready for new tenants.

The process is going well except I have having a very difficult time finding someone to come do tenants Turnover repairs. I’ve had people give excuses and completely flake. This is frustrating because I’m 10

Days in with no work done on the property.

The repairs needed to be done are:

Reseal Fascia

Clean gutters - 2 Story Home

Turnover repairs - including but not limited to replacing bath tub faucet

Drywall install - remove panel ceiling, replace with drywall

The property is in Pittsburgh, PA. If anyone knows of a reliable handyman they can spare please help this newbie out.

Hello BP,

I have officially closed on my second multi fam property. This time a tri-plex! With the newest purchase this brings me to 5 units total (half of my goal for 2021)! I have been purchasing these properties using my VA loan but that options has run out.

Knowing that my VA loan was running low I began to save. I'm hoping to use the BRRRR method to purchase my next property. I would like to stick in the Pittsburgh, PA area but I'm not opposed to learning about and researching new markets. Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Lastly, I plan to be more active on the platform. I’m realizing that where I focus my energy is where my energy will yield results. So let’s connect. Let’s chat. Let’s meet. I’m current located in Tijuana, MX but I’m frequently in San Diego, CA and of course Pittsburgh, PA.

Hello,

I'm still getting use to this site so I apologize if this doesn't go to the right spot. I purchased my first home using my VA home loan. It did not require any work as it was a turn key property! The rental rates there are lower than average but they are long time tenants. I'd love some feed back on how to be competitive in this demanding market

Purchase price: $190,000

I brought my first home after I got out the military as a way to gain financial freedom. I loved The process and I love The freedom it gives. I am eager to purchase my next.
