What kind of mortgage broker do I look for when I look in the phone book for an investment property loan?
For an investment property.
I was told by a mortgage person to get a license or certification to tell that I am self employed to get a second line mortgage. I dont want to do anything illegal. Is this illegal?
I dont have enough income coming in cause my self employed job is slow from Katrina sway of the money.
I asked if I could get another program or rehab loan. The mortgage person said that the rules are all the same. Is this true?
I am assuming that I need to work on my primary home as a source of income instead of getting an investment property loan so that I can do it from a primary residence until I get enough income from this from flipping.

No, I thought the lender would be a third party not rent to own.
I thought if a person rents to own eventually gets a mortgage.
Is a lender privately owned, not like a bank?

I would prefer to sell first within a year. Rental will only take place if the selling isnt timely.
What would happen if I chosed to rent it later. Not familiar with all the other laws of mortgages as if a investment residence except the community is easy to rent in North carolina, but not sure on an investment laws of mortgages?
