I am reading through the "start here" guide. I think that bigger pockets has a lot to offer.  I am looking forward to learning from the podcasts. It would be fun to connect in person sometime. Right now my schedule is fairly flexible, is there a time and day that works for you?

Hi all!

I am New to Real Estate investing and learning all i can. I live in the Cincinnati Ohio area and am looking forward to doing some deals this year. My primary focus is lease option / land contract, but im not sure how this will look as i learn and grow. I am networking at a local REIA group.

Your local REIA can be a great source for deals. Other than that you need to look for houses not on the MLS, inventory seems to be low in this area and there are a lot of people fishing in a small pond.

In my mind this is an easy choice. Go to the REIA meeting. You will meet real people who are really investing. You will have opportunities to network with people as well as learn the ins and outs of investing.

Easy choice for me!
