Hello all,

Does anyone know if being a dependent taxpayer affects you in buying a rental property?

This person is looking to purchase property but someone claims them as a dependent. They have enough to place a good 20% down, good credit history, and decent salary.

Thank you!

Hello,

I am looking to buy some rental residential properties in the Orlando area. Any suggestions as to which areas in Orlando would be best? Since most people are moving out of the city and into the suburbs now.

Price range max ~$200k

Thank you all!

@Dave Foster thank you for response! I'll keep you in mind if I have any further questions

@Candace Pfab thank you for the insight! Would love to gain some insight on the numbers. Sent you a message

@Dave Foster thanks for the response! Appreciate the insight. Have a question about 1031. I know the purchase for the new property has to be in the name of the same taxpayer of the first property, but what if for the purchase of the new property there is another potential investor. Would both receive a K-1 under one LLC or how would that work?

Hello all,

We currently have a residential investment condo at a value of $115k and are looking to create 1031 exchange to purchase a new investment property. We prioritize high cashflow so we were thinking of possibly going into AirBNB. Would anyone know of which cities are good for AirBNB or if it is even worth it right now due to COVID?

Thank you,
