What does it mean when someone says  "i have  effenciey rented for $" I had inquired about a triplex and the amount the seller was receiving from tenants for each unit and he started off with he had effenciey rented for 500 and the secound unit was renting for 700 and the third unit was vacant. Not quite sure what he ment by "effenciey rented for"

Thanks Steven, should I be asking what the property taxes are or is that something I should find out before hand.

hello everyone

newbie here just my third post and i was wondering what are some of the road blocks that other new investors are experiencing or what road blocks have you experienced and how you over came that road block. What keeps you from taking that next step from wanting to do something to actually doing it. Maybe we can learn from each others road blocks and help someone over come their own road block. For example my road blocks at the moment  are knowledge, money, and credit. To try and overcome this problems i am reading everthing i can, listening to every podcast and webinar i come accross (just read @Blake Alexander's post how he listened to 4+ poscast a day, man i have to pick up the pace , and congratulations to Blake on his new job), I setup two separate acounts were i have money automatically withdrawn for savings for future investments, and im working with someone to repair my credit.

@ Chris-Oh wow that would be great.

Thanks Jamal and Paul  for the info I appreciate it.  I've been doing alot of reading of late and will pick up Trumps book next.  Have any of you read Brandon's book with little or no money down?

Hello everyone, I live out in Califorina, but have family out in Fortwayne Indiana and spent a lot of time in my teenage years especially in the summer out in Indiana.  I love the area and would like to invest in multi-units out there any suggestions?

@Brie Schmidt - thanks for the links i had already read the bp Bigginers Guide but the link to the blog was very informative and helpful thanks alot.

@Larry Fried -thanks

hi everyone

i got my eyes set on getting into multi unit properties. I'm not ready to pull the trigger yet just starting out on my research. When looking for turn key properties were is the best place to look for deals is it the MLS? And what factors determine if the price is right?
