If you don’t have existing hairline cracks, latex paint will have longer color retention than elastomeric coating.

Do you want to use it for both interior and exterior? And how often? I would recommend a sprayer with at least 3000 psi and that can support a tip size of 515 or 517. 517 is your most common/all around beginner tip size for both interior and exterior. Any less psi you will have problems with thicker/quality paints and issues such as fingers.  My company owns over a dozen sprayers and the majority of them are gracos with a few Titans.  Titans are good quality for a little less money.  I definitely recommend a quality brand. Titan 440i or Graco 395 are the smallest I use for my commercial painting company however I have heard of guys having good results with the graco magnums. I don’t recommend the handheld battery powered sprayers for many things other than very small projects.   Whatever your choice, cleaning, maintaining, and storing your sprayer properly will save you a ton of headache in the long run.
