So the consulting fee is structured into the non-circumvention agreement? Or is it separate? Also would you get both the buyer and seller to execute agreements?

Anyone have thoughts on what market rates are for arranging deals between overseas buyer and US seller? And how the transactions are typically structured, whether the buyer or seller would pay the fee. Deals would be in $20mn+ USD, Class A office/ retail, some off market. Buyer would be institutional entity, i.e. pension or insurance fund.

What is the typical placement fee for finding private equity to invest in real estate assets?

Some details.
-investment would be in single family houses
-Time to disposition would be 1 to 1.5 years, but closer to 1 year
-ROI would be 12%-15%
-total equity sought $1-10 million
-market location is Midwest US

I hear anything from .75 to 2% but was wondering since raising funds in the current environment is more difficult whether this number might be higher end of the range.
