Thanks everyone!  I'm looking to use the income from my rentals to pre-retire and start my business.  I just need income coming in before I give up my federal job. My goal is to purchase 2 homes every year for the next 2-3 years. 

I've been reading alot about how it's better to finance versus paying cash for an investment property.  When will you pay cash for property versus financing?

Hello everyone! My name is Sue. I'm finally taking the plunge in 2015 and am looking to invest in rental properties in Atlanta. I live in Arlington, VA and am looking to pre-retire within the next two to three years. I want to start my own business and be my own boss. Owning rental properties will allow me to quit my job and while still having passive income I can focus on my next phase in life. I'm hoping to learn alot through the forums.
