I agree. The meeting yesterday was awesome, but it was jam packed and it was very difficult speak to other people and network seeing that there were so many people. Even though I did have a great time I think a smaller group would be beneficial in developing closer relationships with other investors. I also agree that on the job learning is the best way to know how to properly invest. I'm trying to focus on probates and absentee owners. I have several leads to follow up on and hopefully I can close my first deal here shortly. If anybody has any further advice on probate and absentee owner leads, chat me up I'd love to hear your advice. Thanks guys!

Thanks Yinan! I went to a REAPS meeting yesterday and loved it! I'll be joining the group and look forward to networking with other investors within that organization. Ill also be joining REIA of Wa. I also look forward to growing and expanding my business on BiggerPockets and hope to be able to go to other meetings in the area involving this forum as well as other meetings set for real estate investors.

Do you know of any other meetings or groups that would be helpful to go to or join in the area?

Good day all!! I'm excited to start real estate investing in the Seattle area and developing relationships with other investors in the area. I am a police officer that is working on going full-time in investing and decided to start out in the wholesaling and lease-option strategies for quick cash flow. Once I establish a strong financial foundation, I plan on moving to rehabbing and buying and holding. Maybe later I'll get into commercial real estate, but for now, I'll be focusing on SFR.

If anyone has any great referrals for real estate attorneys and/or title companies that are wholesale and lease option friendly, I would love to talk to you.

Thanks everyone and talk to you guys soon!
