Hi All,

My name is Surayya, and I am interested in in fix and flipping. I am currently in the educational phase of the process. BiggerPockets was essentially the first site I came across. I find this community to be an excellent tool to support committing to the flip!

In addition to real estate investing I have been a life long visual artist (mostly drawing for self fulfillment, and occasionally on a commission basis). My goal is to develop a strong artist community in Atlanta!

Does anyone have pointers on buying a starter home? There's an area in Atlanta, Vine City, that is on an upswing at the moment. My aim is to be able to flip my starter home. Advice on strong planning for that type of venture would be excellent!
