Hello,

I'm looking at investing in new build construction of single family homes in Cape Coral.  Am curious if any investors have personal, positive experience with a property management company they would recommend. Thank you!

best,

Suzanne

Hi @Sean Delagrange, I'm also a new investor looking at new build construction.  There doesn't seem to be a lot of consistency in a number of factors, including financing.  Would you be willing to share your experience on a few things? Also happy to DM if better:

- did you do a construction loan or are you closing after it's built?

- are you buying from turnkey (like Rent to Retirement) or a broker (like Norada)?

- are there any learnings on NB that weren't obvious when you first started? For instance, some include window coverings and some don't.  Curious as to anything you can share. I'm looking at Cape Coral and North Carolina.  Thanks.

Hi @Satyajit Bappanadu Manjunath, I had the same question. Thank you for posting this, and for everyone who answered, especially Will and Polo.  What I'm gathering is:

- get pre-approval from one loan officer

- when you decide on a property, get 4-5 offers from different lenders

Is this the process you followed? Can you share your experience and any additional learning?

best,

Suzanne

@Kellianne Fedio, I'm looking at turnkey investments in Cape Coral with new construction. Thanks for starting this thread - the comments have been really helpful.  Would you mind sharing some of your lessons learned or any suggestions? Thanks!
