@Michael Sechrest, thank you for sharing your experience with me. I believe, like most investments, I still need to shop around and do the math until I find the right property. I will definitely not overlook mobile homes. Thanks again.

I planned on buy and hold on land and then possibly doing a rent to own so that I could charge interest and collect a decent down payment.

I am very excited about getting started in real estate investing but I am getting into this later than most so, I have some catching up to do. I was wondering if an aggressive strategy in mobile home investing is a better option due to their lower prices? I understand that the properties would need to be in good condition due to the challenges of fixing them up. Thanks for your feedback.
