I believe the EPA regulation applied to installers disturbing more than 6 SF of flooring coated surfaces-in case there is lead in the coating. If your having laminate, vinyl, or carpet installed they won't need the lead certification.

 HI Tom,

I just found this pamphlet explaining all of it.

The floors currently are carpet/another vinyl. They will be installing new LVP

Hello I'm an investor in Clarksville, TN. Has anyone had any experience/knowledge about EPA certification for floor installers? I'm on the EPA website and can't find specific information for this topic or state. My flooring installer is saying he's never been asked to get certified nor does he want to. What should I do?

Any help/guidance is greatly appreciated.

I have used Palmetto Painting.  They did a nice job and were reasonably priced.

Thank you Kathryn!!! I will check them out. If you have any before/after pics that would be great too.

Just starting my rehab on a new property and I'm looking for recommendations for quality painters and flooring installers in the Clarksville area.  Does anyone have any leads that wouldn't mind sharing? New investor here and I need the help please.

@Swaga Deb I connect with wholesalers in Greensboro and that has worked well for me in finding below market properties.

Do you have any recommendations for Whole Sellers or Realtors in Greensboro that work with investors?

Hi Elijah,

How are you? I'm really thinking about investing in Greensboro and just wondered how your search for properties is going? Have you purchased and what strategy are you using?

Thanks,
Swaga

Nathan your post is very helpful. I think I'll definitely draft something up with items you listed plus a final move out date and if they go over the rent needs to be prorated per day over. Thanks
