Post: Would you rent to a Pit Bull owner?

I'm a landlord and I have owned 2 pit bulls myself. This is a tough issue. If the dog is trained and socialized, I would rent to a pit bull owner. However, I would have to meet the dog and see it interact with people and animals. I would also require insurance on the dog and the tenant. I would require an additional pet deposit for any pet.
