I'm just getting started and while I'm still working more than full time, I'm learning everything I can possibly read. That being said, I am trying to get all the ducks in a row so I can hit the ground running. I have a business name and have bought the domain name, I am working on the logo, hopefully a web site soon, but I need to make it legal. I have looked on Legal Zoom to set up an LLC. They seem to be cost effective but I want to know if this is the right way to go, is an LLC what I need? I want to start out with SFH flips and wholesaling and I only want to do this once! Thank you in advance for your advice.

Thank you Kent for the response! What time does the meeting start in Orlando, I work in Winter Haven til 6 every night?

Hey Karma, thank you for responding. I would love to get together sometime! My schedule is kind of crazy, I am still working in Winter Haven Mon-Sat and I go home to NSB Sat. nights and pick up the boys from their mom. I have Sundays off but I will make the drive during the week just to learn some things from you.

Good evening! My name is Tom Ingles and I'm getting started in the New Smyrna Beach and Central Florida area. I have been working as an Independent Adjuster for five years now, 60-80 hrs a week. The hours don't bother me but the travel time away from my kids does. My four boys are my motivation to be successful at RE investing. I want to learn from anyone that is willing to talk to me so I can one day pass that onto my boys! I am a veteran of the U.S. Coast guard, held a RE lic. while I managed condos, I had my own home inspection business and I built over 200 homes as a superintendent for DR Horton Homes. The one thing I haven't done is buy a house. I want to take my experience and flip houses and maybe even get into multi family. I feel most comfortable flipping due to my experience as a contractor. I know the work, I know how to schedule for a quick flip and I still have my connections with the trades and various subs. I am week on the financial end of the business though. I wish I had found this site sooner, I would more than appreciate any help and advice anyone has for me. I will respond to all and maybe I can share some of my construction knowledge.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, it is my pleasure to meet all of you.
