Thank you Seth, all good advise.  My next question, maybe you can help me with, how do I find the best Real Estate Agent in a specific area?  Is there a good place to go to research Agents and are there any tips as to what I should look for in an Agent?  Specific qualifications, etc...

Hi All!  My husband and I are new members from the Cincinnati area and have made the decision we are going to invest in vacation property(s).  We are looking to start in Tennessee, specifically the Norris Lake area because 1-it's beautiful, 2-it's "known" and 3-it's within driving distance for us.  We would eventually also like to look at investing in a beach property, we are quite fond of the Gulf Shores, Alabama area.  I am trying to soak in as much information and advise as possible while working my full time job running a doctor's office, so any tips and information thrown my way would be very much appreciated.  For our first investment, we are contemplating partnering with another couple, which would be another area I would appreciate input on.  I would love any and all advise, we are not 100% committed to anything yet except that this is where we are putting out investment dollars.  Please feel free in inundate us with questions, information and advise. We are excited to get the process started!
