I’m wanting to invest on a project with someone. They will be using my money and I will get a return on it when the property sells. My question is how can I use that property in my portfolio?

@Rachel Imhof thank you. I saw where I’d have to have experience with a new construction in order to get financed or is this only the case when you’re buying an empty lot to build a new construction? Do you have any pictures of your property?

@Justin Jones hello. I'm an agent here in VB & also a veteran who used the VA loan. I bought my primary home first (NC). After about 2 years I rented it out & then house hacked with some friends (VB). I sold my primary property last year. The equity I gained in it has allowed me to be able to invest here in the Hampton Roads area and I plan on buying another property here that will become a long term investment property using my VA loan again. My goal is two long-term properties in a year.

Has anyone ever purchased a property just to tear it down to build a new construction? What’s your thoughts on this?
