- Bigger pockets community, any leads for bank statement loans?DSCR? looking for owner occupied loan in 3 or 4 plex in Cleveland, OH. Using the rental income from other units towards my mortgage payment. thanks
I am an architect engineer, fabricator, production designer, a new investor, and a motivated buyer for deals. have been doing my market research, gathering information, and involved in classes along bigger pocket community for over 1.5 years while running 7 airbnb arbitrage for over 4 years and saving capital for STR investment. because of the current market conditions and high interest rates I decided to shift to flipping and wholesale opportunities in different markets! OH market attracted me the most!
in the look out for with local contractors/agents/flippers who have deals on the market and need capital or potential collab opportunity!
I would travel to Cleveland and have more hands on project if needed! willing to give out my expertise, experience, skillset and time if the deal makes sense and equity/work can be discussed between parties!
As a new investor I am open to opportunities/ideas/information/networking the closer it gets to a collective Goal! c

Are you wanting to renovate into str?
Turn key only?
What is your preferred cash on cash return and price point?

@Tarek Soliman Be careful who you take advice from and the assumptions you build into your analysis. It has gotten difficult to purchase properties in the markets that have been hyped up that will cash flow enough to make it worth the effort. Not saying it can’t be done but it is not easy right now. People keep buying based on trailing performance instead of conservative forward-looking assumptions and get burned.
How do you choose your first STR property out of state or hometown? I looked into couple of markets and the highest performance ones are either over saturated or the good deals have been wiped out. As my first STR the market these days hasn't been easy to get into! So I need to identify certain markets where I can find potential population or tourism growth and high cashflow, preferably vacation homes.
