@Anthony Thompson

The plan is for it to be my personal residence for the required year (for FHA) . Then I would like to move out and rent all units. My girlfriend is purchasing a single family in her name and I will be moving there after the year. Then would like to purchase more multi families (strictly as investments) once I have the funds.

Thanks so much !

@Anthony Thompson

Thank you

That brings me to another question. Should I just wait until something changes in market or just jump in now? I know it’s unpredictable. I was hoping to do the 203k in hopes for a modified type of brrr but I suppose it’s not a huge deal breaker

Hi I’m looking to house hack a 3-4 family home with the 203k loan in Rhode Island and am looking for someone with experience in this loan that can help me through the process. I am in no rush. Just looking for someone with patience that understands this 203k process as I know some agents steer away from it due to the extra work and time.

Thank you!

I am looking to house hack my first rental property with an FHA loan. A 3 or 4 family in Rhode Island. I was wondering if I should go to a mortgage broker or go shop mortgage lenders. I am very new to this. Any feedback appreciated thank you!
