Hello everyone,

I am looking to find a lender for my first investment property. Does anybody have any suggestions on a good lender that they've used in the past? I prefer local credit unions or banks.

@Tim Kunz That's very useful information, I am actually trying to reach out to local REIAs to network and meet other investors in the area. I'll definitely check them out.

@Jackson Carr Thank you! Yes, I've thought of buying properties in Napa county but the cost of properties in Napa is so high. I actually work at the Napa Business Center, I've heard good things about the Silverado Trail before but did not get a chance to check it out. 

@Sam Shueh Thank you for your inputs. I do have to agree with you. When I purchased my first residential property in Elk Grove back in 2015, I had to compete with SFBA investors and their cash offers often higher than the asked price of the property! They drove up the housing prices in Elk Grove area quite a bit. The best I can do now is learn and educate myself to prepare to take action when needed.
