Hello everyone. Been on the forums for a few days now taking in info. I’ve been searching for Alabama post and just don’t see many. Most are years old and members aren’t around anymore. 
with that said I’m curious if any members here from Alabama do wholesaling? Flipping? I’d like to get in contact with people local and begin networking and learning from experience rather than just reading but it’s not looking like there’s a lot of us from Bama here.

@Kimberly Hall honestly I’m brand new to everything. I haven’t even started looking for property. I’ve currently been reading in investing and financial education along with BP podcast. At my current status id be most interested in kind of shadowing investors, flippers and wholesalers in the area and learning more about the process and networking 

@Lara White cottondale isn’t far from me. Other than the tornado that came through messing up a lot of Tuscaloosa not much has changed in those parts

Thanks for the reply @Benjamin Aaker! I have no problem delegating the work I can’t or don’t want to do! Luckily I have a bunch of friends that own construction businesses and a brother that’s a journeyman plumber as well so I have the people to help in that aspect. I really need to connect with people outside of the construction part and really learn the purchasing, renting, flipping, wholesaling, taxes etc etc. 

I have the urge for multi family housing and long term cash flow but something about the other aspects of flipping and wholesaling also catch my interest as well. 

Hello everyone! Just found both biggerpockets.com and the podcast a week ago. Been listened to them on pandora everyday and I’m on episode 102 currently!  

Little bit about me. My name is Thomas I’m currently in the construction field working on natural gas pipelines. I have a few years of construction experience in remodeling and new construction homes. With all of that said I’m really good with machinery (backhoe, trackhoe, trenchers, direction boring, skid steer, etc) I’m also pretty handy when it comes to work around the house. I grew up with my parents buying a rental property and spent a lot of time helping remodel and work on that house as a young kid which drove me to wanting to get into real estate. 

I have been reading heavily lately and listening to the podcast and I’m eager to meet people in the real estate investment world and really get to know more about everything I can and hopefully begin my journey in the very near future!
