Hey I'm pretty new to all of this and I am currently looking for my first property. I have a couple in mind in the Brantford area but it is tough right now to find anything. Brantford hat a lot of students and it's mainly commuters that live here as there are not many jobs. It's rapidly growing though. The smaller towns around are hit and miss and mostly farming communities. I hope this helps. Luke I said I'm new to all of this and just learning as much as I can.

Thanks for the info Sarah Larbi Matt Geerts Greg S. for all the great info. I am more motivated now than ever to learn more and eventually get into my first deal. Matt Geerts you said you go to meetings in London, would you recommend this for someone just starting or is it for the more experienced? I'm sure there are meetings in my area somewhere I could find through the forums.

This is great advice Matt thank you. I realize now that I have another month or so of research to do before diving in to any properties. The more I can learn the better though and I'm feeling really passionate about the path I'm headed on.

Wow that is a lot of info that I haven't really spent a bunch of time on yet. Thank you for the advice and I am definitely going to invest some time into these subjects. If you don't mind me asking Sarah are the properties you look for in brantford usually single family or multi family?

Wow thank you for all of the quick feedback. Sarah I currently live downtown and I am looking at properties in close to Laurier University. I figured students rentals would be a pretty good place to start off. I would love to pick your brain a bit about your properties and experience.

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to poo in and say hello and tell a little about myself. I am 29 and married with children. I am currently looking for my first purchase to rent out. I am mostly interested in multi family homes. I am very new to this process so any information or tip you have for me would be great to hear.
