Recently been promoted to store manager at a major flooring store just North of Houston. This may be  a long shot, but would love to perhaps partner with, work out a deal with someone that does flips in my area. I could offer great deals on flooring for anyone looking at saving on a major portion of a remodel.

Andy, welcome to BP. I actually moved down to S Florida from Knoxville last year.  Glad to see some people investing there. If you're interested in S Florida properties, I'd be happy to work with you.

Thanks Tom, I'm just tired of working so only to see others benefit. It's time to capitalize on my time and efforts. Any further insight or encouragement is always appreciated.

Chris, sounds like a great goal. Good luck. If you decide to possibly branch out to S Florida. I'd love to potentially work with you.

Hello all. My name is Tim. I have recently moved to Florida where the job market is crazy. I am considering a potential jump into the real estate game. I mean why not, right? I have busted my *** every day of my life only to continuously have dreams and opportunities fly right by me. I'm tired of the typical day job crap and working for other people. The only way to truly get ahead in the US is to work for myself. At the current moment I have extremely limited funds. My wife and I barely scrape by on a shoe string budget. Neither of us have great credit and as such do not qualify for home loans of any kind. I just discovered this site and think I may be able to uncover some assistance. In my travels around S. Florida I come across numerous homes for sale by owner, or run down homes that appear to simply need a face lift. In short, there are a tremendous number of potential opportunities for investors in this market. Not all of S. Florida has been flooded with the 'flippers' yet.  A lot of areas yes, but not all of them. Anyways, I am posting in search of how or where to locate financial partners. I understand real estate is a risky business as are all businesses. I have numerous years of experience in construction and site management dealing various types of projects. I have the time, work ethic, and energy available to dedicate to this venture, should something become available. Any insight is appreciated. Please do not recommend 'seminars' or paid 'educational' material as I already know "those who CAN, do ; and those who CAN'T, teach" .  I will welcome any insight with much appreciation.
