@James Cox @Travis Boswell @Aaron K. It’s only a larger one car garage. It’s not 2. It’s only a rental. I rent by the room thats why I was thinking of adding the room and bathroom too. In addition for the increased appraisal. I wanted to get the work done before anyone moved it. It’s a new purchase. I appreciate all the advice! You guys are making me think for sure.

Thanks. They did at my other place as long as it had a widow and closet it was a room.

Is it a good idea to pay an appraiser to come to your property to help give ideas to increase your property value, other than appreciation and some renovations on your own? I’m converting a garage to an additional bedroom and bathroom which will add value, but I want to try to get max value.
