Hi All
I'm TJ, I'm a broker in NY and NJ as well as an instructor. I have several years in sales, management and training but I have never invested.
I recently came into a significant amount of money or so it is for me. Rather than wasting it or leaving it in a bank account I'm interested in starting my own investment business to supplement my real estate sales.
My issue is that I come from a low income background and have fought my *** off, pardon my language to get to where I am now and comfortable. I know in theory the process of BRRR, Buy & Flip, Buy & Hold, et... but I am very worried about screwing it up and really putting myself and my family in the hole ( I have a wife and a 1 year old son). I also know that in many cases the llc will protect my personal assets and I fully believe this is either analysis paralysis or just fear of failure.
Thoughts on how to get past this and where you recommend starting?
