Hey Everyone,
My wife and I are looking into purchasing a single family home in Los Angeles. The house is in poor condition. The house is zoned for R3. Would it be a good idea to demo the house and build a Triplex on the Lot? Any thoughts, ideas or Advice?

We're Tyler and Jeanette Quinata and we're really excited to learn as much as we can about investing in Real Estate on BiggerPockets. We are just trying to soak and obtain as much as we can from listening to podcasts and reading many books. We are currently working on our short term/ long term goals and on a business plan.
