Hey Jacob-  I definitely understand where you are coming from, the whole NJ market is challenging since we have so little inventory.  I mainly invest in Northern NJ but am starting to look more towards Central Jersey, especially Somerset county.  Send me a PM and we can talk about your target market/price points and see if we can find you something.

Has anyone gone through their program?  I've seen lots of other posts discussing Land Geek and Land Academy but haven't seen any discussion on these guys.  If anyone has any feedback or experience in working with them I'd appreciate any information you are willing to share.

Thanks everyone. All really helpful info.  Seems like 1. Always discuss with attorneys first  2. Either way its better to have people that can perform multiple roles within the company or at least the ability to learn under another manager.

I am trying to understand how to properly compensate team members that raise money for our fund.  Do we break apart the GP Equity for individuals?  Do we offer them percentages on what is raised? I know Cardone is an absolutely massive syndicator but I am want to understand how to continue to compensate the team and have them grow with us.

Secondly if you have multiple people as part of the overall GP team, how do you determine how to divide up the GP split?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
