Thanks @Denise Supplee, that's a great tip about taking pictures after the appliances are removed!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about starting things off on a good foot. And I'm really not opposed to it at all, but I wanted to make sure there aren't any issues I'm opening myself up to that I haven't considered.

Thanks for your response!

I have prospective tenants who are interested in moving into a vacant unit. They asked if they could swap out the stove and fridge for their own appliances. I have a shed on-site, so I can store the existing appliances for free. I would also make it clear that they are responsible for any repairs to their appliances.

Is there anything I'm not considering that would make it a bad idea to let them swap in their own appliances?

Quote from @Mary Beth Hebert:
Cathy:  That is horrifying!  I am about to visit my own condo for the first time since Vacasa took over management 3 months ago.  It's been almost fully rented, though those bookings already existed when Vacasa took over, so no credit to them for that.  I'll try to remember to report back when I get back.
Mary I'd love to hear what you found when you visited your condo
