I’m at a conference for Tarek and Melissa Moussas program and they are offering a lot in their package of promising investors and basically what I’ve learned on BiggerPockets. Just wondering if these types of programs are schemes to take hundreds of dollars. As a newbie I’m skeptical only because bigger pockets has given me a plethora of info and connections. Idk I’m just not buying it from these types of conferences. Thoughts?

This Is awesome and great encouragement to me! I'm planning on a triplex or quad within the next few months. I too have been a lurker for the past few weeks as well! But love the success stories! They keep me motivated.

I was hoping to see some of my bigger pockets people discussing this as a newbie, the news reports had so much jargon I didn't really understand, but through this post I've gained a better understanding.

I just started working again after 3 months so my routine is completley different from a hectic work schedule.

4 am Prayer( if I manage to not hit the snooze button)

I go back to sleep until 7

7:30 drop Mom off

8-9;15- fight going back to sleep because I'm not back to full time

9:30 Breakfast

10:00 Scriptures/ Reading

11:15 Gym Time

12-3- Cleaning/ Doing things around the house. Bigger pockets reading and taking notes on multi-family units and house hacking.

4:30 Pick my mom up

6:00 Begin my commute for late therapy clients 30 mins away

2 therapy sessions

8:30 Drive back home 30 mins

9:00 Light snack

10:00 Hot bath

10:30 Everybody Loves Raymond

Wow. After reading this I realized I have a lot of time unaccounted for that I could be researching real estate. This was really good and eye opening.

What exactly is a sub-market? I came across it in my research, but not sure i fully understand it?

You don't necessarily have to use your own money but it is much harder to do deals with absolutely no money unless you know people and are a great salesman. Good luck and keep grinding!

Thank you that's the honesty i need to hear. That's why I've been weighing giving it a few months, attempting the wholesaling option as well while I'm just beginning my new job this month. So there are options for money, just the waiting process will be a little longer than i want. But thank you :)

I think I will talk to the seller personally, it seems she's lived there a long time and older, so I think she is motivated to sell... So we shall see... Thanks so much.
