Post: Looking for rehab lending in East Texas area

My partner and I who are new to REI are looking for a lender to fund our rehab project. We live near Carthage, Texas. We are looking to do the BRRRR method and /or use the property as short term rental. It is located in Jefferson, Texas. The local banker is not savvy or does not appear to be to what we are wanting to accomplish. Any advice or leads is greatly appreciated.
I'm new to this forum so excuse me if I am replying where I shouldn't. I noticed you were from Carthage. I too live there. I'm currently searching for a real estate savvy lender to help my partner and I do a deal. We have underdeveloped property and have found a home we are wanting to move to it and BRRRR. We are need of money only to rehab with, but the local bank lender doesn't seem to know what we want to do and /or doesn't want to deal with it. Any advice is greatly appreciated from anyone on here.
