Good evening eager people, First off I want to say how much all of the articles and helpful posts are truly inspiring to the first timers such as myself. This community of like minded individuals are an amazing bunch of people. I live in the Sugar Land area and have finally decided to commit fully to making flipping houses a full time job. I am currently a General Manager at a Chick-fil-A and will be graduating soon with my Bachelors in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston. I spent 8 years in the Army (Infantry) where I deployed 3 times to Afghanistan and finally was Honorably discharge as a Staff Sergeant. I am an extremely hard worker and have an entrepreneurial spirit to say the least. What I am most concerned with is making mistakes because even though I have spent months, even years researching this industry, there would still be an incredible amount of stuff I missed. I am looking for a mentor to help teach me and coach me on the process. I am willing to work for free and do whatever it takes to become as knowledgable as I can, an internship if you will. I am searching for assistance in the Houston area and am willing to drive and do whatever it takes, work whatever hours I need, and sacrifice whatever I need to so I can learn the proper way to make this a living. Any assistance or information is welcome, I appreciate the time anyone took to read this post. Everyone have a great day. -Travis

The hardest part of getting into REI so far is literally just finding a way to get started. How did everyone get started in this business, it is nearly impossible to find investors or a business partner. Just wondering how people got their first big break?

Hello,

As an Army Veteran and almost graduate from The University of Houston I am very excited to have found this amazing community of people. I am a new father and a Husband to a great wife, I really hope I am able to meet some truly insightful people on here that can really help me make some informed decisions. I am very excited to meet and discuss future topics.
