My only time in CA, took French at the Army Language school, Presidio in Monterey, years ago. Monterey is awesome, with the fog rolling in, all the beautiful ocean scenery, and also was out there when butterflys came home to molt or whatever they do there in Carmel :)

Hi all,

I'm new to Bigger Pockets, and also relatively new to real estate.

But I already know how important networking can be for someone trying to grow a business, especially real estate!  

I also do stock options as a hobby (and I know some excellent techniques :)    The point is, I've learned a lot about stocks and options from Stansberry Radio, and one of the hosts is James Altucher, who is a super-smart guy!!   I'm an engineer, engineering honor society, etc, but I'm all left brain, the right brain is just a big hole.  James, on the other hand, has both left and right brains :)    Here is his write-up on networking; I think it's worth your time to read or listen:

I'm listening to her seminar as I write this!!!!

Put on by Ross Hamilton. 

30 minutes into it, and there's been one statement on notes, how her student walked into a bank and they begged her to buy that note and she (the student) made $30k at closing. 

Then she went into how she (Sue) sings at church (when they start throwing how religious they are into the speech, RUN!!!!

Now she's showing deformed kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She changed their lives by teaching them art (she says she used to be a starving art teacher). 

Sorry, I can't take it anymore, got to cut her off so that's all I can report.
