Are you planning on investing locally there or in Houston where you are familiar?

Ha-ha nice reference. Great book and movie!

I am probably going to do both at some point but will most likely start in Michigan since I will be there locally more often.

Greetings everyone! My name is Tyler. I just served six years in the Navy as a nuclear electrician. I served aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. It was a very interesting experience.

I'm now exiting the service and I have two main goals going forward. Finish my degree(s) in finance and economics and begin investing in real estate in order to build wealth and income.

I don't know too much about this industry or market yet ,but I am a quick study and love learning tricks and skills from those with experience. I'm not afraid of being wrong and I like learning new things. I'm not entirely sure where I want or should begin and that's one of the reasons I came to this site!

Some more about me; I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and have spent the last 4 years stationed in Virginia and will be moving to Michigan most likely to attend Michigan State University. I look forward to getting to know and learn from everyone!
