Hey everyone, I've been listing hotels regularly in Florida and surrounding markets this year. I would love to get in touch with active investors in the hotel market. For starters, comment below about your thoughts on buying hotels in current market conditions.

Large hotel chains typically do not own/operate their products. They focus on franchising out to private and institutional investors. So when you say they are interested in coming to your area: did they announce plans to own a building or simply bring their brand name to that area?

I wanted to write a post and reach out to anyone who will be traveling to the AAHOA Convention in San Antonio, Texas next week. I work in the hotel investment industry and would love to connect with anyone who is active within hospitality.

@Mike Lambert Davenport isn't as stabilized as the Celebration area, so weekly rentals in Davenport is just a higher risk option. To my knowledge, there are no regulations in the area, but I'm not 100% on that.

@Anthony Podloski The hotel market in Orlando is stable, running high occupancy but lower ADRs. I currently have 3 hotels listed for sale in the Orlando tourist market that fit this exact criteria.
